Eligibility Criteria

  • For Nursery: Age should be more than 3 years but less than 4 years as of March 31, 2024.
  • For KG: Age should be more than 4 years but less than 5 years as of March 31, 2024.
  • For Class 1: The child should have completed 5 years of age as of March 31, 2024.

There is a provision for an age relaxation of up to 30 days.

Application forms can be purchased from the school’s admission office.

The application form can be submitted through the official website of the school.

  • Residence proof of Delhi.
  • Caste Certificate.
  • Passport size colour photograph of the child
  • Passport size colour photograph of the parents
  • One family photograph
  • Aadhaar card of the child
  • Aadhaar card of the parents

Application Fee

  • The application fee for Delhi Nursery Admission is Rs. 25/-
  • Buying a prospectus is optional, and the price may vary for different schools.

Selection Process

The selection process is based on a point-based system, where schools assign points based on various parameters like distance, firstborn child, siblings in the school, etc.

Seat Reservation:

  • General Category: 50%
  • EWS/DG/Freeship Category: 25%
  • Management Quota: 20%
  • Staff Quota (Children/grandchildren of staff/employees): 5%

Age Criteria for Various Junior Classes:

  • Nursery: 3-4 Years
  • Kindergarten (KG): 4-5 Years
  • 1st Class: 5-6 Years

  • Look for the link “EWS / DG Admission List 2024-25” in the official announcement box.
  • Enter the name and birth date of the child.
  • Click submit to view the admission list.
