Modern school, vasant vihar is a class nursery to class 12 co educational senior secondary School. The seeds of establishment of school was sown in 1920 by Lala Raghubir Singh at No.24 Daryaganj Delhi which was the first Modern School. It was established at the time when education was considered to be the privilege of rich people hence Lala ji envisioned such a school that would provide educational opportunities to all the students irrespective of any differences in the society. Modern school , vasant vihar was established in 1975. The school is an English-medium institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school motto is “Self – realisation cannot be achieved by the weak willed”. The school motto has been taken from the holy Purans which aims at perfection. Therefore the school focus on making every student strong so that they can achieve perfection. The school works well to build all round personality of students by arranging different companies curricular activities along with the academic education.
